The Concept

I've been working at my local Oxfam shop for almost a year now. It's sometimes exasperating how many clothes we have to send to be recycled because they aren't in good enough condition to be sold. Often, we can't sell something because it has a little mark on it or a hole or a tear, and then there are the clothes that are good enough be sold but just don't sell.

One afternoon I decided to go through the black bags and see what there was to be salvaged.

I came home with a huge box of clothes, which I'm going to alter and cut up and sew back together and clean until Oxfam can make some money out of them. This blog will document this.
